what would it take a 05 450r to win against these bikes in a drag what cheap mods do you guys recommend all bikes are stock

A cam should do it if the other bikes are stock.

All I have is a cam / pipe and I have no problem taking piped 06 R's and YFZs.

that cam is it similar to a hc1 or hc2?

The 02 CRF cam that I run is a low/mid range cam.

HC1 is also low/mid
HC2 is mid/top

Any cam will give u a huge advantage over stock, just depends on how u shift and ride.
