yamaha makes a 450:eek2: ? HA HA HA............well i have it on high authority that there is efi and aluminum frame coming in 08, on an 08 machine that is to only be known as the raptor 700 :D

Hate to say it bug I won't disagree with you. Yammy is without a machine to compete with the 250EX and the Suzuki machine similar to it.

Wonder if it will be shaft or chain drive?

i dont think there will be a new machine in 08 for yamaha. i think the first company to release a 250f quad will be suzuki

not to haggle on you guys but the yfz is the best 450 :devil: in my opinoin by far it is at least its the fastest =p that zuki cant come close power and speed wise till u uncork it

JB how do you know this information and if you do how wide is it? is it chain drive? manual clutch? is it 229 ccs like honda or 249 or 250 whats the bore X stroke?

what i do know is it's based from a tt-230 motorcycle and i think it's a blaster replacement. i do know it's not a high performance that everyone want's.

all i know is the YZ285 2-stroke mx bike is coming out in 08 i seen it in motocross magazine.
a 250f would be sweet even a 229cc air cooled sportish quad with full clutch and chain drive would be awesome

I highly doubt that. Transworld MX had pictures of the 08 250f and 450 bikes on their website a few weeks ago, with no mention of any significant updates to the 125/250 2 strokes.

no i was just up at 7/11 and flipped through it i dont care that much for dirtbikes but it does have a heavy duty swingarm and like 8 more horsepower more than the yz250
thats all know and of course its blue and white

i thinks its the coolest dirtbike besides ktms bikes

I dont think we will see any big changes. We will know soon enough.

I don't see it at Kawasaki.com and when I did a google search I found nothing.
The pics ATVriders provided looked fake.

Yeah, nothing too special for Yamaha this year... =\ Even with their bikes... they didn't do anything too out of the ordinary.

I hope that Honda has some exciting info to give out in the near future about their crf250 and 450... They still haven't disclosed any information about them.
