I am selling my Tecate 4. I have my reasons. It is currently in pieces. I started to resto the whole thing, but looks like I will not be completing it. The quad was in good running order, but in need of a cosmetic makeover. All the paint was chipped and rubbed off and it just kinda looked worn. Nearly every bearing was replaced just last spring, as was the axle. Here is a list of what it NEEDS.
Swingarm pivot bearings installed....I have new ones.
Lower shock bushings...they are worn. Usable, but some freeplay in them.
Rear shock linkage busings...also worn. Usuable, but also from freeplay.
Steering stem upper has some freeplay, not sure what needs replaced.

I have been pulling off stuff, blasting it, and having it powdercoated. So far, here is a list of the items freshly coated. Front Bumper, handlebars, brake hub, sprocket hub, the rest of the axle hardware, brake stay and mount, durablue wheel hubs (Honda bolt pattern), engine mounts, FMF midpipe..can't remember what else, but there is more done.

quick descrip of the T4...+3 arms, Works front shocks, Durablue +4 axle with hubs, SR330 kit, Sprock bigbore pipe with FMF midpipe and silencer, SR Coolhead, K&N clamp-on, or Uni-dualstage foam, Renthal Bars, EZ pull clutch pull, new cables, working headlight, billet mastercylinder cover. 2 sets of front plastic...one cut, the other stock..both in decent condition with only minor scuffs and wear. 2 pairs of blue side panels...one set trimmed for the race cut front and the other set full. Rear fenders trimmed up with multiple stitched cracks. Nerfs. I got lots of spare stuff for it, and It all goes. My price is firm. $2500.00. Gotta come pick it up, bring a trailer...you'll need extra room for more parts. http://kfx450hq.com/invision/index.php?showtopic=251 That link is how it current looks, well right before I tore it down.
