Well your gonna need..

400ex: shocks, a-arms, and tierods with a shock relocator kit. That should be it

you can get the 300ex shock bracket, for the 400ex shocks since the shocks are a lot longer, from JB Racing or Hetrick Racing.

dont use 400ex shocks thery are WAY longer than 300ex, I ride a 300 with 400 a arms and 300 shocks and it sits fine, when i put 400 shocks on it I had to custom make a uppoer lowering bracket that lowered it twice as far as an off the shelf aftermarket lowering bracket and it still sits about 3" higher than it used to.

maddmatt02 dosnt the relocator bracket make it so the 400ex shocks dont make the quad sit higher? also can i see some pics of ur 300 with the a arms on there with 300ex shocks?

its not mine, its my boss' bike and im building one like his, he has 400 arms on his 300, with 300 shocks, but I have 400 ex shocks, so I used the lowering bracket that he uses for flat track with stock shocks, and made on that lowers it much more, and even with that the 400 shocks make it sit pretty high, his brother has the quad right now but when he gets it back Im putting it back how he had it since im getting close to assembling my front end, and ill take one before and after to show you.

Dude, that exactly why JB made a shock relocator bracket so with using the 400ex shocks it wont sit high.:huh

My friend has 400ex shocks and Gibson a-arms on his 300 and it sits lower than it did with the stock suspension/a-arms.

well, I found out one reason I thought that even with my bracket that it sat high, it also has 400ex arms on it, I knew that but I didnt know how far out the lower shock mount was on 400's compared to stock. so with the stock 300 shocks it sat a bit lower than stock, so now with my brackets and 400's it might actually be stock height, not sure, havent been near a stock bike for a long time. I didnt think the a arms had so much angle, when i first was the guy with dvx400 shocks, it looks high to me but I guess that stock thats how they sit...

Ya mine sits about the same height as my brothers stock 300.

just noticed you have 250r a arms though, is the lower shock mount moved way out on those too?

i used 250r arms on my 300 too. im pretty sure the mounts are at the same place as the 400ex arms.

Do you have std travel or Long travel shocks?

both the 300's and the 400's are stock standard travel shocks. haing 400 shocks and arms on the 300 is like a long travel setup though.

yea but if you get long travel 400ex a-arms and long travel 400ex shocks it wont sit really high. thats what i am trying to say. but if you have stock travel a-arms and shocks, it will make it sit high.

yeah, but stock shocks and stock a arms are cheap, long travel shocks and arms are not cheap. and my boss just got his quad back that I had my shocks and brackets on, and I broke out the stock 300 arms, and checked it out with stock arms and stock shocks and then with 400 arms/shocks and my bracket and they sat just about the same, not really any higher one way or the other.
