Hey guys whats up.. I just bought another 250r project and received acouple top ends for it... 2 250cc and one 310 non-power valve. (I have carbs for both).. I will be doing mostly trials and maybe hare scrambles..

310 non-pv pro-cross with MP porting/polish... I imagine it feels real nice, and god dam the cylnder looks better then the 250.. BUT would it be to much for just trails/hares.. (dont worry i can ride and handle it but would rather not have to "take it easy" threw the trails) Would rather not waste a nice *** 310 on how i ride.. the reason I say waste is because I could clearly sell the 310 and use the money for others upgrades or maybe just go 265... (plus the 310 needs a hone or mild bore) and the 250's are ready to go...

310 worth it? is the TQ much better low end? should i sell it? anyone interested hehe!?

Also any good recomendations for bore/hone/piston/and carb pre-jetting companies if i keep this?

Thanks guys, and sorry if I seem oblivious here. Ive built 3 R's and never had to mess with building the engine or choosing engine size. I always had a complete engine or just needed to assemble top end.

I'd be interested in the cylinder. How much are you thinking? Do you need any parts for trade?

No clue on price yet, I guess I'll take offers.. IF i do sell it you would get the piston also (not really usfull but whatever.. also if the exhuast flange fits my stock 250 cylinder Id be keeping that.

def keep the 310. don't know who MP is, but check the size and if it can be bored out do it. a hone job won't be enough. any local machine shop can bore it out, it's not a big deal. but go with c-leigh if you want an "expert". he can also check the porting too see what type it is and report if necessary.
