Has any of you ever installed one of these? The pitbike guys been doing it for years.

In a nutshell, an inner rotor kit replaces the stock flywheel with a much lighter part, which allows your engine to rev extremely fast all the way up to 15,000 rpm! Furthermore, the inner rotor kit allows you to adjust the timing so you can really dial in your engine.

I let my next door neighbor try one on his Kazuma 110 and he was very impress it let the quad rev almost like a 2 stroke

Did you read the subject "CHiNA"? you could pay $395 for a Kitaco Kit still made in China by the way or you can buy a no brand for $159 or less.

maybe that's why your kid does the racing and not you....:blah:

Of course I read the subject. I also checked the links. Sorry if I hurt your feelings, but a person usually gets what they pay for. My son does the racing because I allow him to. I also pay for his racing and do the majority of the work on his quads, hence my opinion of that part.

Forget about Newick, he sounds like the sort of guy that has to pay to justify his own short comings.

So.....the IRK; do you lighten the oil slinger also?. Works well but the mod has a bad rep for breaking cranks......they dont. The cheap aftermarket oil slingers are made of alloy; don't use them they are crap. Machine the stock steel slinger down to the screws, you will not have a problem and IMO it's better balanced than not doing it at all.

I wouldnt use an IRK wsith a lit. slinger cuz of reduce rotational mass you may stall easier but some people use them in combination
