hey im looking into either getting a 400 with some work done to it or a 450. i heard from a few people that the 450s were alot of work and not very reliable and was wondering if it was true. i also heard that you had to change the oil and whatnot after every ride. is this true. also what other maintenance do you have to do to them usually and how often? thanks

totally not true. I have a 400ex and a YFZ and the YFZ is no more maintenance than the EX is.

they are NOT a lot of work and ARE reliable. and you do NOT need to change the oil after every ride. i dont know where these people are getting there info from...they have no clue what they are talking about. We have a 400 and a 450, so i can speak from both sides. hope this helps

yes thanks definetly. also im not conserned about like that that much power so but want a pretty good suspension. do you think i would be better off with a 400 with aftermarket suspension or a 450 with the stock suspension?

why not get the stock machine with the better suspension from the factory, youll enjoy the extra power later anyway lol.
