oh man...well, i met up with my sisters friend out riding today. He just got a brand new Yamaha Raptor 700R FMF Edition. Holy chit thats freaking nice! He beat this Gixxer 500 in a street race. Its really torqy. Man, I wouldn't mind having one of them too haha.

No offense or anything, but a Gixxer 500? I'm not aware of there being a GSX-R500 in existance.

Do you mean GS-500F?

Again, no offense, but if it is beating a GS-500F.....thats still not that fast.

LOL sorry, i dont know ALOT about street bikes....but im not sure....he called it a Gixxer 500. I've talked to a few people who stunt ride on Gixxers and stuff...again, sorry, just saying what he told me...and i just thought it was fast because he beat a streeet bike haha

there are gixxer 600's, and there are also GS-500F's, if he beat a gixxer 600 that thing runs, but if he beat a 500 it's not so much

I really dont like the raptors... they just seem well way too big but lacking some power for the size of the engine..

Its a low performance street bike plus the quad has 200cc more. IM not sure if that gs500 is EFI or no.

Power per CC compared to the 450's is lacking a little bit, but they aren't much slower than a YFZ 450, the 700's that is.
