just like to know how they make the quad easier to control. i dont really understand.:confused:

its a hydraulic ...pushes oil back & fourth internally..as you turn the the wheels this increases control
this one sealed on both ends & is rebuildable

some like this one are valved,& have several settings it can set for "hard" or "soft"
it slows down the radical movement of the bars in your hands
I just rebuilt this one for one of our R's..
its a "Mr. Muscle" ..

Just wondering, What kinda oil did you put in it, and did it come with the kit?

OK now we have that cleared up, how does a STEERING DAMPER work?

You guys are talking about a Steering STABILIZER

you know,I am talkign about them SCOTT's or GPR's...I hear there better than the Stablizer's...

I think they are the same besides the fact of being able to adjust on the handlebars. Somebody clear this up....

So...how would it work without messin up your steering...so if i line my tire up with a brick wall and turn...just the dampner willl move? i dunno if thats safe...i hafta be off track here..someone help

It stiffing the steering so that those little breaking bumps dont effect ur ability
