Mixing old oil with new oil

Is this OK? Say your oil getting a little low after a while but its not time to change just yet, is it OK to put som new oil?

It's fine, also It doesn't matter if you mix two different brands of oil, or two different weights.

i tend to stick with the same exact oil, but mixed oil is better than no oil i suppose
