I noticed the more "gull wing" style arms on Lawson's bike last week in the GNC pics Harlen provided for us. I'm anxious to hear more about them..

When you say more like a "Gull Wing" are you talking about a design like Gibson where there is a lot of ground clearence at the frame

Looks like there might be a pivot point by the ball joints IMO. The tires look like they are perfectly perpendicular to the ground regardless on how the quad is cocked or angled.

Just a thought. :scary:

i've talked to a couple of the guys i know who know mike well and they haven't gotten much as far as info about these yet but yes it seems more like a gibson design with more clearance near the frame and i wouldn't be surprised to find out it works a lot like the houser sli-cast system

They look almost identical to the previous model except for the small curbe built into them.

You can see them a bit better if you go on A T V S C E N E.com , its in the Scene girl section.

Here is a pic that I snagged off of the last GNC pics from Harlen.

As you can see, the gusseting is still the same, but it looks like the shock mount is brought to the top. I wonder if these arms are still using the 20.5" shocks on the 450r or if they had to go to a shorter LT shock....

i do not see how it can use a 20.5 shock with the mount being higher like it is. the mount on the top would have to be moved or the a arm would closer to the ground to give it that long travel. I would have to bet they went with shorter shock. I been 100% wrong. I am just taking a stab.

They could have just moved the mount on the a-arms out a little further to keep the longer shock. Either way those things are awesome.

I doubt they would move the shock mount location out further because that would throw of the leverage ratio thus making it probably futhur from the "ideal" ratio of 2:1...
