Ball Joints

Has any-one drilled out there 14mm bj's in there a-arms,and installed 16mm.Just wondering if any-one has attempted this or not

I believe a few people did this or attempted this, I think the overall conclusion was to not do it, as the metal tubing that holds the balljoint was very thin afterwards. Try searching it maybe, I know there was talk about it before.

just curious, but why would you want to do this?

well,i've seen and heard a lot of people breaking there ball joints.i was just wondering if it was possible to drill them out and install bigger ones to have more of a chance.because this really sux when u break bj's,or axles....

some of the 06's had safety recalls for the ball joints, but other than that, i have yet to see a broken ball joint on a trx450

I've seen them break more so on raptors,400ex's
