Raptor 660 or 400EX

Im looking into getting a raptor but the 400ex's sound nice the only thing is i want it for trail use and a little racing and the 400s dont have reverse but i want something with reverse does any other honda come with reverse... im 5'10 and 200 pounds so i need something big:blah:

If I'm not mistaken, the newer 400's have reverse. I think somewhere around 2004

05 and up's have reverse, but you dont need reverse i dont even think abt not havin it

i think the raptors are tippy (just what i have herd) but bolth are good i would go with the raptor 7000 if you have the cash you can get them for $5000 in my area

get the 400 bc the raptor isn't a great all around quad , the 400 is comforable , reliable , cheaper parts , less maint. and very fun to ride. reverse is for amatures.the raptor is a speed bike thats very unstable its good for sand drags . the 400 is great for trail and easy to set up for the track or even lower but if i were you save your money and get a 450 any make or model . the extra money is well worth it i've ridden them all .

my buddy has a raptor 660 and he let me ride it all day and it was so uncomfortable. it feels like you're standing up just sitting on it. yeah the power of those things are awesome but it's too snappy when you accidently hit the gas a little too hard. they want to buck you right off when you go up hills. besides they are a pain in the ***** to work on. the oil tank is in a place where you have to have a 10 foot long funnel just to put oil in it.

my buddy wishes now he would have got a 400 after he rode ours.

If you have teh money get a Rappy 700. You can pick them up for under 5k used. They are aweomse trailer machines and will womp all over a 400ex in the drags:)

who cares abt a drag, get a raptor 700 and have fun workin on it when efi messes up, and have fun tuning it yourself, get a ex there better all around quads except drags oooh boy who cares abt a drag race

for your size i would go with the raptor..

i love honda's but if you have narrowed down to one of the two bikes with your size the raptors motor might move you a bit better... but im thinkin a 450 would be the way to go!!
