I have an 05 450R with the HRC kit and KnN filter. Should my next performance mod be an exhaust or CDI or something else?
Thanks!

Then look at your powercurve to see if you would really benefit from a rev box or not.

also I'd look into suspention to make you faster not just your motor being faster.

I like the power curve it has now, just want a little more all around power.

I know what you're saying about the suspension. I just can't decide if I want to get my shocks revalved or go with a whole new long travel set up. I don't race or anything so I'm kinda leaning towards the revavle.

do a revalve then get a full exhaust then from there maybe a high comp piston and depending on ur riding style a new cam, also look into a swing arm and some std travel a-arms

What's all involved when they revalve a shock? Do they just simply put new valves in there? Also, what's a ball park figure for getting all three shocks done? I couldn't find any prices on C&D's website.
Thanks

Thanks Racer174. I looked at their site and I'm impressed. Good prices too. How well do you like their work and how much did that package improve you ride?
Thanks!

I am very impressed with there work, Ido not race MX that much so i felt i did not need the high dollar setup that you can buy, The people at GT are very nice to deal with and they can tell you what is suitable for you needs buy your riding ability and what exactly you want done as far as MX,XC, Desert etc. I have a Desert set up with a zero pre-load set up and it has tons of travel comp to stock and the ride is plush, as far as workman ship and turn around i would give them a 10.

well ,i would go with the full exhaust since u already have a hrc kit.it will let the engine breathe alot better.then start on your susp.thats my opinion

Here's what I posted in another thread:

I'm starting to look at that complete susupension kit from GT Thunder. It comes with a set of a-arms, rear link and a full rebuild on all three shocks. I think it was like $1,700. I send them an email to see if the a-arms are stock length or longer.

Does anyone have this complete set up from GT Thunder?
