Does anybody know of a company that makes a better looking heat shield? I think one that said "400ex" in script writing would be cool.

Have Kenny powdercoat them, I don't think he charges thant much, and I think they look pretty cool.

I think the polished look is better than the powder coat look. Maybe i should just get an aftermarket head pipe.

take it off if you don't like it. I'm sure you could remove the brackets somehow? Plus it's one of the best mods you could make.......a free one!

I found that I didnt like the head shield on my bike as well. It gives the quad too much of a "factory" look. I tossed mine.

i unbolted mine and used a zizwheel to cut the mounts off. be careful if you do this though, cause you dont want holes in your header! i just didnt like the "factory" look either. lata
your best bet is to get it powdercoated any color u want and its probably cheaper then a new one

If you like the polished look better than the PC'ed then why don't you get it PC'ed the almost chrome color. It looks good.

Use gloss black engine enamal it works and looks great its also cheap, if you dont have money and want a new look for your stock a-arms and front bumper then do those to!
