I dont have any pics right now. I traded my 440 EX for a jeep (on this site actuall).

I am just starting to work on the jeep now. The post on this site said it was a 360 but my buddy thinks it is aomwthing else.

very possible it is an AMC 304, they came from the factory with AMC engines.

axles should be pretty easy too, post up pictures.

Give me a year model.

it could be a 360, 304, or 401. They came from the factory with all three.

I am not 100% sure but I think they all had the same bore just different strokes.

One good thing about the AMC motors is it will have the size stamped on the side. You should be able to crawl under and clean the side of the block and get your size.

Nothing on the jeep is stock, thats why I dont know what exactly everything is on it. I think the axles are from Ford, ignition keys say chrysler.

Common swap is a chevy small block. Parts are easier to get and alot cheaper. More than likely the rears are DANAs they should have a tag on them. If not the numbers you need are stamped into the housing.

Like I said, 360 is an AMC motor. They are more common in the comanche and I think you could get them in the CJ 8.

I am assuming this is a CJ....so why don't you tell us the year and what it is and we will see if we can help.

its an 89 Wrangler with a CJ front end. There was ad ad for it on here a while ago, I'll see if I can find it.

it would take a lot of work to get a CJ front end on a wrangler. The motor is most likely out of one of the trucks.

8 lug axles drivers side pumpkin indicate ford or dodge axles along with T-case, looks like a D44 or something that light.
