Rear Shock on a +4 Swingarm?

Would I have to change my rear shock to fit my +4 swingarm or could I still use the same one.If I need to get a longer one what kind would everyone reccomend?

you could get a linkage system.

Linkage system? The 400ex already has that.

All you have to do is get the rear shock revalved because of the extra leverage put on the shock. Send it to the quadshop and they will do it right.

yea why does everyone keep saying you need a longer shock. I have never heard of that before. Its mounted in the same spot you just need to get it revalved especially if you get a +4

I didn't know about the longer shock or not .Like you said i just heard everyone else saying that.What do you mean by revalving it?Probably a stupid question to some but i really don't know
