Cd Burner wont work

Well i got roxio easy cd creator and it will not burn a CD...it will burn maybe one or 2 songs sometimes then quit...idk whats wrong with it...its driving me crazy....sometimes it wont even start the burning sequence it will just spit the CD right back out...can anyone help

can't hurt to restart the computer, verify/repair disk permissions...

but i would just reinstall it

thats the thing i cant re install it because it came on the computer, and i cant find the windows applications disks....ive also restarted about 2 dozen times

go to roxio website and make sure there is not a driver update for it. it could just need the new driver. If your using windows you can right click on my computer and it has the ablility to burn cds itself. it does not need software to burn cds but you have to enable this feature, i am pretty sure it came disabled when you bought it.

might be something to do with the burn speed and the read speed not being right.
