get a 300ex;)
make sure the decompression cable is adjusted right, at tdc there should only be around 1/16" freeplay at the head. also teach her how to follow through with a smooth kick, no jabbing like a 2 stroke. if it has the right pilot and the intakes aren't tight, it should start with no throttle both hot and cold, unless its flooded.

does it have a high compression piston?

dont think it has a high compression piston it is a new motor approx. 15 hrs it is the first cut on the jug only .010 over im not sure how to adjust decompression cable or to even check the adjustment

Your gonna have to start it for her until she learns how to do it herself, or put a 300ex engine in it.

if you look on the right side of the motor by the kicker there's a lever with a cable that goes to another lever on the head. thats the decompressor. put the motor at tdc on the compression stroke and there should be about 1/16" freeplay at the lever on the head. if there's too much it won't open the exhaust valve enough and it will be hard to kick. if there's not enough freeplay, the valve could hang open and burn. you can adjust it with the threaded portions on the cable.
