I tried mounting my rear suspension up tonight. I went to mount the dogbone to the swingarm and there is a problem...there are two different size holes! the hole on the left side is large and the head of the bolt and/or the nut just fit inside it..is there supposed to be a bushing or something in there?

that sounds how a stock 88/89 swingarm is. there is a special bolt you use for it. Get a oem 88/89 250r rear linkege bolt(swingarm-dogbone), it should fit.

It is an oem bolt from an 89 swinger.

I believe my Houser swingarm (88-89 style) had a special bolt that they forgot to include (the one pictured). That is probably your problem.
