hey guys just got my new 400ex shocks put on..my dad got a pair of 450R's on his 400 so i got his.

but i mounted them up to my diamond J widening kit and went out for a ride..here are some pictures.

Can I ask you for a favor? If you find the time, would you take close up pictures of the lower front shock mounting brackets on one of you a-arms? I would like to see a side and top shot if possible.
From diamondj's website, they look like two flat bars with three holes, is that correct?
I see that your shocks are bolted to the outside hole, the a-arm is bolted to the center hole and the inside hole seems to be bolted through using a spacer to maintain the bars parallel?
What keeps these bars from pivoting on a jump landing?

are the 400ex shocks softer r stiffer than the stock setup,i was wondering because im putin the kit on with 450r shocks.just a good comparison

they have a lot more travel to them - and the rebound is softer- they do not bottom out and the hole front end works great. no problems
