alright i have decided to get a pit bike but i dont know if i should get a crf 50 or one of the 110s. i was thinking of the 110 because its alittle bigger because im 6'2'' 180lbs and still growing. it also would have a little more zip to it stock. but on the other hand there kinda harder to find and they are heavier. also, it seems parts are more plentiful and cheaper for the 50. my question is do you guys think that if i got a 50 i would regret it and wish i would of got the bigger, faster, 110. i plan on only doing the basic mods at first, taller bars, maybe stiffer springs. i want something to ride around the yard, ride wheelies, and hit some small jumps. im just worried i would destoy the 50 right away.

thanks in advance.

well I can't give you my opinion on the 50's because I've never rode one but I did have a klx110 and loved it. I had so much fun on it but I just didn't have the money for the aftermarket parts so I sold it. I miss it even though it was the right decision. Even with the stock suspension I could jump maybe 15 ft gaps without it bottoming out but just barely, and i'm 5'8 165 lbs.

get a 110. for sure. i had a xr70 and it was too slow and too small.

get a 110.
get springs.
get bars.
get a pipe.
ride it.

I weigh about 240 and I ride a CRF50 with stiff springs and its plenty. I already gave you my side on the issue, But whatever you decide, I'm sure you will have a blast!

Heres some motivation:
