I'm looking to upgrade the suspension on my son's TRX90. I see two diffent options, do just the shocks (Like the Works AT's) or the A-arm conversion. My son is racing and doing very well but he is out-riding his suspension BAD!!!!! Last weekend he won his 1st moto and was in the lead the 2nd moto and wrecked from casing the top of a double and got bucked off. I need some opinions on which way to go with his suspension!!!!!

you need to do the suspension, the stock stuff is not for racing. KOQ racing has front and rear kits at a reasonable price.

I'm leaning alot more toward the suspension conversion and also have access to an old 300ex. What do you guys think about the 300ex conversion or is it better to go with the aftermarket A-arms and parts? I'm just hoping not to make an expensive mistake with buying something I'm not happy with.

On a quad where weight really matters, the 300 ex conversion is waay to heavy, and even the front spindles are almost double the weight of the of the 400ex, because they are steel vs aluminum.

Thanks for the help!!!!!!!! That right there is the kind of information I am needing. I just need to know which direction to take this project. I already found out the hard way that I should have done his suspension first instead of his motor. He has got all the power he needs but now is having problems with the jumps and all around handling of the quad. If anybody else has anything to add, PLEASE DO. I could use the help.
