idont know if anyone has already posted this but i was reading dirtwheels may issue i think and in the letter sections someone asked if the 500banshee was really an april fools joke dirt wheels said no...and that yamaha had plans to make that just dont know when...

yeah i seen the same thing, it has a yfz look to it and suppose to have the pep of a two stroke and whan it comes out i will for sure have one

Interesting, I would sure hope it holds some of the old banshee styling ideas if possible, quad's anymore are alien looking :p

well the one in teh mag was cleary a photchop. but they may change the shee, but it will never be teh same. the only shee i will ever own is a 2 smoke, the origional. i have doubts about it being real.

i heard rumors of a 500 banshee since about 02, or 03...same with the 650ex....I doubt itll happen. But if it did happen i wouldnt buy one. 4 strokes just arnt something i have the desire to own...I would keep my 87 shee over some 2009 4 stroke junk

I think that they were just messing with the reader.

Besides as hard as thay try they will never be able to recreate the shee, there is one and only one!
