Building a frame.... what to do VIN number ???

Im planning on building a frame and then buying a motor.. So is it possible to get a VIN made or you cant plate it for trails and stuff ?? anyone knows how it work ??

You should be able to get one through your DMV. They'll need some sort of proof you built it, so make sure you take all your receipts with you when you go.

Talk with someone from your DMV, I think that if you make a custom frame, that you can do something where you are issiued your own vin number for that frame.
