I have a 2005 400ex and have a few aftermarket stuff in my sig. and want to know what i should do next. Should i do work to the motor or put a better front suspension on it and widen the rear.

widen it up b4 u do engine work....i would def. look into a-arms, axle, front shocks, and get ur stocker rear rebuilt and you will be very impressed in the ride difference

Alot will depend on what kind of riding you're going to do and your budget.

Widening may be helpful in some circumstances but just upgrading the shocks with stock arms & axle will be a huge improvement in many situations.

depending on what kind of cash you have to throw in your ex i would go with some 450r front shocks and rebuild your rear like exrider49 said and get some wider a arms and a axle. you can get some good deals on ebay and in the for sale section on this site. you should find everything you need for a good price.

oh and for the motor mods i would get a uni or k&n air filter depending on if you ride in dusty trails or not and maybe a cam oh and a 450r carb is a relly nice mod to.
just some things to think about. hope i helped

Thanks for the info. I'll look into some 450r shocks and some wider a arms. And would the rear shock be fine if i left it stock. Or is it alot better to get it rebuilt?
