Hi everybody. Im planning on getting a Houser/Elka front end on my 2004 450r in the next month and Im just making sure that Houser lt a arms dont have any problems or weak spots. If they do I would like to know a similar a arm that doesnt. (I race mx in the A class) Thanx a bunch!

no housers are a good a-arms make sure you get +2.5 and run a 4/1 wheel...i would not get elka though i would go with custom axis, pep, fox in that order there are alot better shocks the elka out there

Houser makes very good a-arms. Most people actually run the +2 a-arm setup for MX and that is what Houser recommends and what Goodman runs. Houser could get you a good package deal on the Fox shocks.

He obviously knows what he's talking about seeing as he has that set-up and rides it.. I bet he's real sorry that he offended you by running the tires he wanted it the front.

ok.. all he said was he loves his elka/houser. doesnt matter what type of riding he does, he was just stating his opinion. and you tell him he doesnt know what hes talking about... how would you like it if you stated your opinion and someone told you that you dont know what your talking about becouse you ride a 300ex.. there will be ppl who love elka. and ppl who hate elka(me). just becouse they like elkas doesnt mean they dont know what they're talking about

I though that the elkas a had were not as good as the axis that I have now. that’s just what I think about them.
