I was in the same boat as you. What I had to do was send the silencer in and they installed the new 2 piece end cap. They said they had to replace core in the process. They charged me $150 I believe. It was last summer when I had it done.

Got it back in a week. Call them first to confirm everything, they will give you a RA number to put on the box.
