Right on...

Does anyone notice that the DS650 is off of the model list.

Maybe that will be their next reveal, in August, a 650 brother to the 450. ;) ..........If true, I may have a new Desert race bike also:D

Glad to see it's in the price range of the other 450s. Seems pretty impressive to me but I have to say, it bugs me how the rear fenders curve down! Ha, of course that's the last thing that matters though.

i think this thing is great! after watching all the videos on the steps up until the full reveal you can tell that so much thought was put into this thing. the hollow axle, long hubs, long a arms, frame design, ect. they took a giant leap when they made this thing, and the price isnt high either!

That would be sweet, but I think that the Aprillia supermoto engine(V540) would be even sweeter. That motor stock in the supermoto bike is 70 HP stock. With the added benifits of a V-Twin and the light weight motor(which is lighter the the ds450) motor, This thing would be the highest HP Open Class quad on the market. I think that is what is going to be released in August, because I heard rumours that Can-Am was trying to get the ATVA to change the rule book on the single cylinder rule in the 450 class because the V-Twin comes in a 450cc size also. When they found out that their was no way around the rule the had to get a single cylinder motor ready. With the V-Twin motor the quad could end up weighing in @ 335ish. That would be insane. Just think of the power to weight ratio. and the 20lbs they saved on the chasis and suspension components would ad up to be correct also.
