They might but it would be for adults. 16-up so thats not much fun, except for the wife. If the age rule would change it would be awesome for a 13 yr old to ride something like that. kinda like the 250R/CR 85 bikes the kids ride at the nationals.

its going to be an LTR250 not 250r. Its going to be 4-stroke. When the article was in the dirt wheels awhile back they said that if this quad does really well like suzuki is talking about, the nationals will be making a 250 Pro class for them.

Doesn't use 250f motor, not a race quad.

shaft driven
semi auto with cheesy wanna be clutch
dis. 229cc
weight 360lbs
carb 22mm
travel f/r 5.9"/5.7"

Yami
chain driven

dis. 249cc

carb 29mm
travel f/r 7.5"/7.9"

the 250ex is just a heavy pos utility quad with sport quad plastics (no offense to ppl with 250ex's, i had one also..) this yamaha seems like it could actually be turned into a little race bike

Thats true even though it doesn't use a CRF motor it still looks like it would be great in local blaster/300ex classes.

I'm hopeing they put the RM-Z250 engine in it. That would be awesome. They rev like 13,000 rpm's, and make more power than a 400 four-stroke engine, I'm guessing they will de-tune it for the quad chassic, that always happens.

Yeah, That's what my brother is thinking. The 250 4-stroke engines make more power than a 400EX and Z400, and rev up to 13,000rpms. It would haul ***, and would a load of fun. I really hope it's the RM-Z engine, and EFI.
