I am trying to remove worn a-arm bearing on my EX a-arms but can not remove the wire clip that holds them in place. I have tried small screwdriver(1.4mm tipped), pick and hooK set, pressing out with c-clamp. Any suggestions? Item 7 in picture, if I can get one out I going to try to replace with a internal ring clip.

You may have to buy a snap ring pliers, those save alot of time and fustration. Thats what I used on mine.

Snap ring plier will not work, snap rings is what I going to use when putting back together. Just a sprung wire clip from factory

those may not allow the bolt to pass through correctly once reinstalled, but its worth a try.

Those little clips are a pain in the @ss once they get rusty. I still managed to get 6 of the 8 out in my bottom arms though only using a narrow screwdriver, no pick. You have to get at least one clip out, so you can press the bearing out, then remove the second clip. I replaced all my bearings with delrin(plastic) bushings so I won't ever have this problem again.

screwdriver and a BFH....can't mess anything up if you are replacing the bearings

you can still use snap ring pliers to remove those factory ones. On those tho, I usually use a small pocket flathead screwdriver.
