Honda card horror

I purchased a new Honda TRX400 in January. Never missed a payment. The due date was the 16th of every month. One month I payed on the 20th due to pay day falling on that day. The next I payed on the 30th because I was in the hospital with pnuemoina. I have asbestosis and get pnuemonia easily, so GE Money bank who holds the Honda card contacted me and said my 89.00 per month is cancelled because I missed my due date twice, but mind you never missed a month without a payment. Be for warned my friends.

its always good to contact them and let them be aware of the situation goin on, they might even make a note in the computer what is going on, sucks to hear though

That is a BIG catch in the fine print. If you don't follow the rules EXACTLY, they get you bad.

i missed one of my credit card payments by 1 day, i just plain old forgot, and my interest went from 7.99% to 24.9%

I just picked up a CRF 250X bike and they told me dont be late even by 1 day or they will default on you. Sucks - try refinancing it with a bank.
