your link works fine for me..

it is a secure page.. have you recently made any changes to your firewall/security software?

as a test, temporarily disable all of your anti-spam, anti-popup, anti-spyware, etc. to see if itll come up..

perhaps by starting through a different web page/link than the home page.. (ya never know..)

https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_forgot-password

https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_login-run

https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_help-ext&source_page=_home

will any of those work to get you in?

hmm... im running out of suggestions..
have you cleared your temporary internet cache?

got to command prompt, then type in: tracert www.paypal.com

it should try and trace the number of hops to the target ip, getting a snapshot of the "ping" at each step to that point..

if it actually traces it out or not, i really dont know how to proceed..

can you get to other secure web pages? like a credit card company for instance..

remember, firefox 2.x is just a download away..
