I would like to install the HMF Sport Series Slip-On Exhaust. The web-site recommends the following standards for jetting:

Recommended Jetting Specs:
450R '06 Full / Slip on 165 K Hex / 48 Pilot

I have an '06 THX450 with the HRC kit. The manual states the kit has #162 with a #42 pilot.

Question is do I really need to re-jet or can I live with the HRC jets ? I want the HRC exhaust cause it has a better looks and tone. Am I sacrificing anything by leaving these jets be or should I take the time and $$$ to change out the jets ??

the hrc jetting is fine (this is what I was told by rossier) after adding their full exhaust system to my 06 w/hrc

I think the slip on is just going to sound and look better

the hrc exhaust flows really good it just looks ugly and is heavy,
and its a little quiet
