I recently purchased a new 07' TRX250ex for my wife and her only complaint is the suspension is too stiff. What would be the logical way to go about making the suspension more plush, so to speak?
I heard Works Performance and Elkas, are longer A-arms required?
Looking for a nicer ride for her front and rear shocks.
Thanks

ok i have elkas up front no you do not need new a arms you will pay about 700 for a reecreational shock . I have a race shock i have compression and preload adjustment. What i would do is call elka and ask for John make sure they do not misinterpret and think you asked for yahn

i just bought my 11 year old a 07 and he weighs about 90lb soaking wet. i had a stock front blaster shock lying around the garage and put it on the rear. it is adjustable and seems to be a lot softer. i don't know if i would recommend it, but we are "testing" it now. it was about 1" shorter so it lowered the rear also.

660bigdaddy,
Do the smaller rear tires cause any ground clearance issues?
I have been looking at smaller fronts (20x6-10) as well as backs (20x11-9). But I had assumed that 18's in the back might cause my swing arm to drag too often.
I am attempoting to install 300ex shocks front and rear. I understand the rear will be slightly lower, as is yours. The fronts are supposed to raise the front end. I thought going two inches smaller dia tires (1" net change) would help offset the height of the new shocks.
Quad looks great BTW.

what i wanted to try for myself would be bolting up the rear suspension to the front to see if it works as in buy another rear shock or something but that would probably just make it stiffer
