I am going to paint my a-arms. Should I paint them (top) black (bottom) red or both Red? Let me know what you think and you shall see it done.

i think the mix black on top , red on bottom.,...that would look good with your color shceme. i will vote too lol

Red and black is what I was leaning toward also, I have to get another can of "Candy Apple Red" and few more cans of clear (can never put too much on) and I will be done maybe tomorrow if I have time. I will post the pics when I am done. Thanks for the feedback everyone.

I say the black on top red on bottom. But have you ever thought of grey and red to match your graphics and grips and plastic? Just a thought.

I don’t think gray would look to good considering it is about gray now. I wanted something different but thanks for the suggestion.

what about red bottems and chrome tops? If your real serious on the colors, tell me and i'll change your quad to have the differant colored a-arms in photoshop. I can't chrome the top a-arms though:(

You can change the colors if you want too. I have all ready painted them black and red though. Looking pretty good!

I think taht you should but black on the bottom and red on top. One reason is that the bottom arms take a beating and black should hide the scratches ect... Just my .02$ though

i say chrome on the top red on the botom
i got some dulicolor chrome spray paint and it held up pretty good on my bumper

I got one side done and they look pretty good. Painting the other side right now. I do think the way I did looks the best and would like to thank every one for the suggestions.

I used these paints. The Color Spray is some tough sh*t. It sticks like crazy. I also used a whole can of clear on both sides. This made it pretty thick. I am sure it will chip no matter what but there is not allot that can hold up to what we put them through. The thing is when it does chip you can use model car paint to touch it up. I am putting the other side on today and should have some pics by tonight. I also am going to take the choke off my carb today and get it ready for my jet kit.
