Are vesrah valves any good? and can i get my rockers hardwelded instead of getting new ones?

Yes they are good,they are the first ones that come to mind other than kibblewhite or stock oem valves.I have used them on several occassions.Yes you can have your stock rockers hardwelded

ok thank you. and where can i find a wiseco 11:1 compresion piston? all i can find is 12:1.

Yeah the 12 to 1 is a high comp for the 250x while the 300ex has the 11 to 1.If you want stock comp you may have to go to a oem or pro x type piston.I would imagine wiseco would make a stock comp piston but not a 11 to 1 for the 250x.More comp means more power;)

you can run the 300ex wiseco piston kit, it will be a little below 11:1 but it will be safe for pump gas. read this (http://www.exriders.com/vbb/showthread.php?s=&postid=2632233#post2632233)
but if you can run race gas or have a real aggressive cam, go for the 12:1, you probably can get by with 93 if its set up right and run an oil cooler to the head.

i was going to get my head ported & polished, new valves, and a hot cam with hardwelded rockers. if i got the wiseco 12:1 will i be able to run 93 with the stuff ill be getting?
