300ex sputter

Well i drove my 300ex around and i notice a stutter in higher rpm's. In the lower it runs perfect. Also i might add that this is in every gear. IS the problem jetting or a $100 thing like cdi, or electical system?

could be as simple as some dirt in main jet that needs to be cleaned or a dirty airfilter
