Anybody spit their case?????

Well I have the ol 400 engine sitting on the bench just wait to come apart for the stroker crank. I was just wondering if anyone has split their cases before and if there is anything I should look for or any tips.

na...the 400ex is the easiest motor i have every torn down. inspect your gears....especially 3rd, and your shift forks for ANY signs of wear. replace your crank bearings whille your there....its a job you dont want to have to do twice. but take your time and do it right the first time. good luck
