Either way it's good news.

What is the size of front Pro Wheels aluminum rims for the 50.

Does the stock 10x6 razr work, or will I need to purchase new tires?

You use the stock 10 in tires with the drr pro wheel then put 16 or 18 in snow hogs on the back drr pro wheel. Front 4 x 144 bolt pattern same as 300 ex .

Isn't the fronts 4x144 and the rear 4x110?

Does any one know a price yet

We have been using them for a while now...They are hands down much much nice than the Douglas wheels....

.160 thickness with a rolled edge....

Fronts are 4/1 offset so you will lose some width since the stockers have a different offset 3/2 I believe, but this does give you more wheel over the rotor...

Readily available from DRR.....

Yes pricing is available, but it can't be posted here(yet)

We will be an authorized advertiser in the next couple of days if all goes as planned, so we won't have to hold back info of this nature

Sounds good, but what size tire width fits on the front, are they 10X5, 5.5, 6, 6.5?

I believe the rear are 8X6.5.

I was just wondering the same thing since the stock rear rim on the 90 is 8 X 7, but if you went with a 6.5 you could use it for all the minis.

Alumium Wheel Set Up
Front is 10 x 5 4/1 Offset 4x144 Pattern
Rear 8 x 6 2/4 Offset 4 x 110 Pattern

Yes...they did fix the rear offset from the first batch, so the valve stem can be run on the outside now.

Now they should just change the fronts or make a few other sizes, so they can be 50 stock/limited class legal. The rims are very nicely made though!

Pardon my ignorance.

The stock razr 19X10X6 tire can be used on the aluminum 10X5 rim, correct?

Also, I thought these rims were advertised as legal in ATVA stock limited.

we have been running them for a month or so. They are awesome.we run harescrambles and the douglas rims are not good for the woods. We destroyed 2 sets a year. These drr rims have been thru 8 races and not a scratch. Not to mention they look great. last race every other mini rider made a comment wanting a set. I wish they would make a 10x5 4-110 so we could sell to all the other brands.

Stock wheels are 10x6 , 4" backspacing. which gives you 2" outside. Technically speaking, if your in the stock/limited 50 class they must not be any narrower or wider than when made. Running the 10x5 front rims, would give you a 2" narrower front end than with the correct wheels.

The DRR pro wheels are and option, you can buy it with so i would think you could run them but I would check with your track first.

Do you know who actually manufactuers these wheels? I was just curious who is making them if thats not top secret of course ;)
Also, pricing??Where can I find that ?You can PM me info its its an issue posting it if you like ;)

We have went threw ALOT of wheels in recents years,I would be games for trying something new .:)
Glad to see they are a .160 thats what we run now
The 125's wont even get us threw one race without an issue.

We desperately need to think about a back up axle as well. Thats the only thing I think we have not broke yet(KNOCK ON WOOD! lol) and keep hearing that he needs to ditch the stock one.

. in the 50cc stock limited class they are not legal with atva , they are very strict on this matter, However any other class should be fine . these wheels are very nice , high quality . We have not had one comment that was not positive from our customers . they do not fit the stock rear kendas that come on the 90cc, not wide enough.

Where is the ATVA width measured from? If the offsets compensate for the smaller front rim, would it be legal?

hotquads1
09-25-2007, 04:39 PM
width is not the only issue , the rules state your atv must measure the stock width by using the stock offsets . the wheels can be replaced but they must be same width and same back spacing as stock .

Now these wheels are and option so how does that work because they are a stock item how would they catgorize them then??

hotquads1
09-25-2007, 07:35 PM
the wheels are a dealer installed option, therefor, not stock . Stock is the way it comes from tiawan. this is the way the atva determines what is stock. my son races the ATVA national curcuit and we have the pro wheels on the rear but cannot run them on the frnt due to the fact they are not exact dimensions as stock frnt wheels. believe me I have tried to figure out a way , but it is just not legal.

Thanks Marc.

The rear tire size on the pro wheel rims can be changed to 16X8X6.5, instead of the stock 18X8X7, corrrect?

Looks like one should keep a couple sets of front tires if ATVA rules are enforced.

hotquads1

yes the tire change is fine, and the ATVA rules are strictly inforced at the nationals , I dont know how strict they are in ATVA regional events.
