won't start up

my battery will not keep a charge. will only start when jumped start. The battery charge says it is full. When I turn the key on the netural light comes on, but when I push the start button the green light turns off and won't start. Is it just a bad battery or something else?

sounds like just a battery , But if not check the solonoid to the left of the battery , where the fuse are. If your getting power then your fuse isnt blown. What you could do is take a screw driver and touch the two terminals together on the solonoid ( NOT THE BATTERY) see if it starts by doing that . If it does you need a new solonoid.
