Yeah, that really sucks.

Hopefully Mike can heal up before Riverdale.......not sure how long it would take a wrist to heal. Minor or major.

Hopefully Brandon will sign onto The Pit in a few days and let us know what happened.

I also hope Chad Prull is alright:ermm:

Was prull the one that went off the cliff? I heard it was Wes Miller, either broken leg or popped knee out of place (Meaning likely ACL damage)

Either way it was rough on man and machine....

Saw the Dakar Tourag's actually did real well.

Justin Waters posted on my teams forum, saying that Prull was the cliff diver.....so thats all the info I have.

Whoever it was, hopefully it's not to bad.

CORRECTION - Justin said "Someone on Prulls team" so it wasn't Chad Prull.

He said it was a broken leg. Even with that, they actually ended up finishing second!!! :eek2:

Well I just got home! WOW did I have a great time. Got alot of info for next year to race it solo. I met up with a guy that was soloing it this year and I saw him 14hrs in to it with 30 miles left. I have lots of photos and video. I will try to get some up some time soon. If you ever have the chance to go watch it I highly recomend it.

We pre ran about 30 miles up the coast side in our rental JEEP and it only took us 4 hours. I was not sure we were going to make it out at some times. The part we ran was to be some of the fastest parts!

We stayed in a campground right in town and could walk to every thing. We are going to try and stay there again next year.

Here we are just at the boarder looking over at Tajauna. I was driving and got down into town some how and it was not where I wanted to be! Then I got pulled over by the police. They just checked all my paper work on the rental and made sure I had MX insurance then let me go.

The ride down was beautiful. It was not what I was expecting too see.

We are now in Ensenada. The town was nice down by the ocean but once you venture out of town some, things start to change.

VW had their DAKAR race cars there this year and I think they did quite well. I think they were entered in the TROPHY Truck Class.

I didnt get many photos of the quads. They didnt have to go threw the Contigency line friday like all of the trucks and other race cars. So it was hard to find them.

Here is a IRONMAN! He was racing all the 500 miles by himself. I did see him about 14 hours into the race and he was still going. At that point he had about 30 miles to the finish.

There were only 2 of these racing, one in the Pro and one in the Sprotsmen class.

I didnt get any photos of the ATv starting. I was videoing all the ATVs. I hope to have some of the video up with in the next couple of weeks. I have to go out of town tomorrow, and then to KY for the 6 hour race this weekend, then back out of town.

Trophy Trucks coming down the road to where they drop down into the wash and run out of town. We were 2 feet from them as they went by.

This team lost a wheel coming out of Mikes Ranch and they were still there after we left about 1 1/2 hrs later.

SwainRacing

Some of the ATVs and Bikes were getting passed by the Trophy Trucks going down in to Mikes Ranch

These rocks made for some great viewing spots. Nice and high looking down onto the track and having a 360 deg view. If you look close you can see some people up on them.
