if you leave the lid on , run a 105. if you take it off, run a 108 or 110.

Alright which jets does this take, I know it's a Keihin, but is it the hex or the slotted jet???

I DID THE SAME THING TO MY WIFE'S. I AM AT SEA LEVEL AS WELL. I WENT TO A 102 MAIN, AND BACKED OUT THE FUEL SCREW ANOTHER FULL TURN, AND IT WAS PERFECT!!

THE JETS ARE HEX IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY.

NOT A BIG FAN OF REMOVING THE LID ON ANY OF MY QUADS OR BIKES. I HAVE USED THOSE UNI AIR VENTS IN THE LID OF MY 250EX, AND THEY WORKED OUT PRETTY GOOD.

I ordered a one size up slow jet #42, will this help it idle better when warming up? Or should I just leave the 38 in???

MOST JET KITS DO NOT COME WITH PILOT JETS FOR A COUPLE OF REASONS. I THINK UNLESS YOU HAVE A HEAVILY MODIFIED ENGINE, THE MOST YOU WOULD EVER NEED TO DO IS TWEAK THE FUEL SCREW. YOU CAN TRY A LARGER PILOT, BUT I THINK IT WILL RUN TOO RICH AT IDLE, AND ULTIMATELY WASTE ALOT OF SPARK PLUGS.

IT IS EASY ENOUGH TO REPLACE ON THIS QUAD, SO TRIAL AND ERROR IS NOT SO BAD.

ORDER THE FUEL SCREW TOOL DIRECT FROM DYNOJET.

He's right. First adjust the fuel mixture screw., If you can't back it out any farther and it is still too lean, the you go up one size. Just the opposite, go down one size. Idle is where most plugs foul...
Exhaust and intake mods work better at the engine speed and air flow increase. At idle they are not far off from stock.

ALEXANDERJASON, hey, I'm starting to get used to the ALL CAPS thing! lol

Alright guys I put a 102 jet in with the airbox cover on. Now the quad runs like sh** and keeps poping on deceration. Plus it looks like you need a special tool for the carb adjustment screw and I right??? If thats the case then I was not able to adjust anything today. Like I said I got the the Big Gun slip on and K&N fliter.

Well I tried backing out the fuel screw and ended up backing it almost all the way out and still could not get the quad to idle right, so I changed the pilot to #42 and set the screw to two and a half turns out and the quad ran beautiful. I still need to go to the 105 main as the plug is still a little white.
