I have a 2006 450er that I purchased brand new this spring. I have added a graphics kit and seat cover. prm .250 swinger skid, .125 belly summit front and baja rear bumpers. have the pump guards I have decided to sell it. What do you think would be a good honest asking price?? I paid 6300 for the bike itself plus 347 in tax when I had it titled.

im shooting to ask 5800 beings its basically a brand new machine with accessories. that would be a good starting point. maybe if it had some ride time on it 5000 would be reasonable. it doesnt though.

My quad has $16,000 in it. I would be lucky to get $5500.

My opinion is someone with cash isn't going to pay that much. If you offered some kind of financing you could get that in a minute.

Unfortunately thats the price we pay to ride new stuff. Value drops no matter how much ride time is on it, as soon as it leaves the dealers floor.

No offense but the accesories you add'd arnt really anything thats gonna make the value of the bike go up. You could almost get a full ready to race quad for 5000 nowadays .

Yep, it really makes little difference how much riding is on it or what has been done to it when it comes to making a sale on an ATV. That being said, you could probably get a little over $5,000 for it.

You could probably make a little more if you have your stock parts. Sell everthing aftermarket seperate.

You can deff get a full race quad from someone for 6000.there is a good chance that a full race quad that you might buy has been raced for a season or so. if I were you ask what you think you should get for it.....then if it doesn’t sell you will have to lower you price. I doubt that you will get 5700 for it but good luck to you…you know what they say about suckers being born everyday.

Not everyone is worried about a full race quad. Race quads have been abused. A pretty much stock machine with extreme low hours and very clean is desireable to alot of people too. I am going to put it forsale asking 5600.00 obo that way I can move around a bit. Thanks for the replies.

Agreed, to most people a stock low hour machine is more valuable, but I'd rather buy something that has been raced. 90% of the racers I know take better care of their machines than anyone. Oil changes after every ride, thourough cleanings after every race, lube and oil everything. If I put the stock parts back on my bike, you wouldn't know its ever been raced. All of my stock stuff looks like it did on the showroom floor.

yeai really dont get or like how ppl say, don't buy a race bike....

Why? i oil and lube my **** after each ride, i chewck things over more so now that i race then i did from riding, cuz it demands more. it makes no a sence you guys are weirdo''s...so your saying, a full out race bike, races 1 heat everyday saturday, for 10-15 mins, then 1 main that week, for 20ish mins is more stress then you guys dickin round trail riding? little do you realize a full race bike is raced only, meaning it's not ridden much compared to a trail bike, so id rather buy a race machine myself, cuz who knows maybe joe smoe has a trail er for sale, changes the oil 1 tie a year, where a racer does everyrace for th emost part!

you buy anything new and for the first year (or more) you will be upside down on it.

if you never even started it, its still not worth what you just paid.

(unless it was a 250r)

4k - 5k but good luck
