should i save about $1300 and sell my blaster and buy a 400 ex or keep the blaster?

save all you can and get a 250r...those are the best quads and they are going for cheap right now

are you racing? if so i would say the blaster. the 400ex is a better quad all around, but ona 400, your going to have to race 450's, usually there is a blaster/300ex class so if you were on a blaster you would be racing much more equal competition

If your just cruising around on the trails all day, I'd say go with the 400ex. Its a great overall machine.

Depending on how tall you are, or how much you way, the blaster can get pretty cramped. I was 5'10 and 180pds when I owned a blaster. It felt a bit tight between the fenders, and it was lacking alot of torque. It didn't do good on the hills :o .

If you haven't outgrown the Blaster either physically or performance wise you can have just as much fun on it as any other quad. I can understand the urge to go bigger but that's not always the best:)
