Wow, another killer weekend at the Proving Grounds! Even though Dan is still hobbling around like a 90 year old man from his crash, he had the place in great shape as we arrived there friday.

Cody wasted no time in taking advantage of the great track conditions and seeing it was only friday, less crowded tracks!

Quads Photo gallery (http://www.photoreflect.com/pr3/ThumbPage.aspx?e=2918898&g=0IPA001S01)

A quick "How To" on ordering pictures.

1. Pick a picture that clearly shows the quad and rider so that I can search for other pictures to add to the Photo CD. (You can email me or include in the instructions all the photo numbers as well to speed it up, but not nessassary)

2. Place your order and pay using the cart.

I will include all the pictures I have of each rider on a CD that you can do with what you please. I am also including a release on the CD so that Walmart, Ritz camera and other photo places wont hassle you when you get prints made etc.

With only 30 minutes or so before dark, Cody was all by himself, and I must admit, it was nice not having quads and bikes zooming past me every 10 seconds as I got to spend some time with the boy and just relax.

With night settling in, the riding park was alive with the sounds of families having fun and the occasional pitbike foray into the big barn for some laps....(I dared not go up there, i've seen what happens at 11pm when a pitbike is involved..lol)

Saturday morning arrived and no sooner then the sun rose, people started flocking in for the weekend bash! No sooner then they could get geared up, they took to the tracks.

Pappy
05-27-2007, 09:57 PM
A killer rain fell briefly friday afternoon, setting the tracks in prime condtion for those that arrived early!

Pappy
05-27-2007, 09:58 PM
gbcap was out early trying to dial in his mx quad

Pappy
05-27-2007, 10:01 PM
Greg may be a big boy, but he can sail every jump there is at BPG!

Pappy
05-27-2007, 10:03 PM
Dan had brought in lights for the race saturday night as can be seen in the last two pictures. I did not see it, but Rich reportedly climbed each light to adjust them for Dan!

Pappy
05-27-2007, 10:05 PM
I think I am jinxed by the weather gods as almost every event I have attended this season seems to want to play games with me:mad: Bright sun one lap, grey overcast the next

Pappy
05-27-2007, 10:07 PM
A few areas of the track had been widened over the past month or so to allow more room for passing

Pappy
05-27-2007, 10:09 PM
It did not take long for riders to start getting the tracks down, and the speeds started picking up

Pappy
05-27-2007, 10:12 PM
Seeing riders go two wide here took some getting used to

Pappy
05-27-2007, 10:16 PM
On the upper track, I found the sweet JB CRF150R Hybrid of the Moser's ripping it up!

Pappy
05-27-2007, 10:18 PM
Cody came out and did his favorite thing, make bikes pay..lol

Pappy
05-27-2007, 10:19 PM
It was easy to spot new arrivals, as they hadnt been coated in Breezewood Brown:p

Pappy
05-27-2007, 10:21 PM
The jumps at BPG can either be taken easily, or with a twitch of the throttle be hammered and big air is found!

Pappy
05-27-2007, 10:23 PM
Dan was doing all he could to water the tracks, but the wind and sun combined with a few hundered quads and bikes was keeping the dust flying. Trying to get a clean pictures was becoming difficult

Pappy
05-27-2007, 10:25 PM
Part of it is my fault, they werent roosting this corner that hard until I set up on it:p

Pappy
05-27-2007, 10:26 PM
Breezewoods huge berms beg to be hammered however:devil:

Pappy
05-27-2007, 10:28 PM
Its a crappy picture, but it was taken on a dead run as the wreck was happening:p

Pappy
05-27-2007, 10:29 PM
Thankfully he was ok.

Pappy
05-27-2007, 10:31 PM
Matt "Madmatt" Vansant is a BPG regular and close friend of Dan and Amandas. He is a swell bro and will give you the shirt off his back. He wrecked hard a few weeks back and had to have shoulder surgery but was there this weekend helping all he could!!! I thank you Matt and hope you heal up soon!

I heard a quad come out of a corner behind me, and I turned to see it was a Polaris and he was heading for a double.....

Pappy
05-27-2007, 10:37 PM
Now...two things I havent seen is a Polaris doing much of anything on the MX track, and i have only seen a few quads clear this double.....he wasnt one of them

I am pretty sure his testicles know what his upper frame tubes feel like:eek2:

Nada, you probably just havent seen enough clear pictures showing how alot of tires roll in a hard turn. The bead can break ofcourse, but not this time:devil:

Pappy

I took alot of shots but in all honesty, I was whooped. The work it required to get the shots I wanted required energy I did not have:p Cody raced his TRX90 just to see how the gearing would work and he did great. I have to send his rear shock out for a new rezzy line seeing he bottomed the suspension and the chain ate it:p So much for ride easy...lol

Pappy

One of sundays first set of sjots was a new way to exit the track

Step 1.... Clear step up

Pappy
05-27-2007, 10:53 PM
Step 2.... Land sideways

Pappy
05-27-2007, 10:54 PM
Step 3.....Slide sideays down landing ramp

Pappy
05-27-2007, 10:55 PM
Step 4..... Drive away like you meant to do it!:p

Dan was steady throwin water but it was just too much for me to shoot alot in. Riding was not way bad, but the very wind that kept the dust blowing away also dried what dan was putting down

Pappy
05-27-2007, 11:07 PM
2 1/2 days of riding in the humidity and heat had us wore out. I had arm pump from shooting so much and Cody had blisters from the hard stock LTR grips. Our weekend was coming to a close:p

Pappy
05-27-2007, 11:09 PM
We had a blast, and it was great seeing everyone again, meeting some new folks and I do apologize to anyone I missed! You wouldnt think a day could fly by that fast and not get a chance to say "Hey" to everyone but it does happen.

I hope to see yall again soon at BPG!

Amazing pictures Pap, you just keep getting better and better over the years. :macho: Look's like it was a great time! I was wondering when the next ride is planned. I would like to plan ahead to take time from work and get my quad back togather. I tryed to borrow 4 differnt quad's to ride up there but they all ended up racing the Evansville harescramble with them! :(

Pappy
05-28-2007, 07:49 AM
I believe the next big ride will be the July 4th weekend

Flyboy 62 & Youngblood get better each time we come to Breezewood. Good job boys. How about RB - he's found the love of his life - YAMAHA. Great riding RB. Give him some gas & he'll jump anything

Pappy , I had to laugh , Lisa & I were looking @ the pix in the gallery - when she saw the ones of Zach she said we'll be going to Breezewood when we're 70.

Thanx Amanda & Dan (get better soon) we enjoyed our weekend. Always a great time.

Alot of work goes into the weekend - Thank you everyone.

Hope my R will be fixed by then. See yall on Fathers Day.
