hey there i got a 06 trx 450r with some motor work done like 13.5;1 piston, full exhaust, stge 2 hot cam, jet kit etc. i bought a procomm cdi box for it and installed it and after installing my quad would cut out on top rpm like 3/4 to full throttle so i jetted up and could not fix the prob. After reading up on the chip i heard it was a piece of **** so i sent it backand bought a dyna tek one and it does the same thing how can i jet for these things, they supossetly advance the timng and raise the rev limiter.I dont hit the rev limiter it starts cutting out while being on the gas from 3/4 to full.

u should AT LEAST BE RUNNING THE HRC SIZE OF A 162 MAIN ON THAT BIKE WITH MODS-------

I RUN ANYWHERE FROM A 175 TO A 185 DEPENDING ON TEMP--

CHECK YOUR PLUG I BET ITS LEAN------

That thing is screaming for more fuel. Atleast a 175 needs to be in that bike.

so i put my ignition in and took the lid off and put in a 140 main(its the biggest my stage 2 jet kit had) and now it seems to be on the right track. I am gonna go buy some bigger jet real soon, i have only been doing short runs up and down the drive checking my plug every run so i shouldnt have hurt it. now to run the bigger jet i have to remove my jet kit cause hex jet dont fit unless i find bigger dynojets ill try 180 to 190.what clip position do you guys runand pilots

i run the third clip on the hrc needle,,, stock pilot,,,,,, adjust your air/fuel screw to two turns out and pull the airbox lid off and try a keihin 172-178 based on your altitude.

sweet i went for a ride on my 185 main changed my pilot from a 42 to a 45(which didnt realy make a dif)air box lid off chip in clip at posi 2 and it hauled pretty good. ill try 3rd clip tommorow and set my fuel air out a half out from stock 1.5 and see where it takes me so far my plug seem close to a cinnamon colour id like a little more brown i think but well see after i **** with it. my altitude is like 800m above sea level
