Akraix @ Little Sahara

Akraix is going to be putting on a freestyle show at Little Sahara, Oklahoma on June 8th and 9th. They are going to be throwing back flips, from what I hear. Anyone else going to be there? :cool:

My crew is going up next weekend to spend about 4 days there..never been to any dunes before anything i should know before i go?

You should make sure you have a good set up paddles to help you get around on the sand, other than that, have fun and be safe. Sometimes you can encounter steep drop offs, but thats all common sense. Have a fun trip! :cool:

kewl thanks man...i went with a set of sand shark v paddles...everybody i talked to said they would be the best bet for my skill...im mostly a trail rider but i thought it would be fun to check it out the only bad part is that its a five hour drive for me to get there

the V's are nice and all yet if you land sideways it will grab and flip u pretty quick, but if you don't jump, they are nice, and watch out for those drop off's like ohsobad_chevy said

true, when i go down to little sahara, thats all i want to do is jump, but im going the last weekend in june, and i can't wait, everytime i go down i always progress on my jumping, and last time i was jumpin 15 to 20 feet in the air and about 45 to 55 feet out, but it hurts with not much of a landing and stock shox

ive got a goup going down for sandjam weekend. most of the canpsites are all ready filling up, so it should bea preety busy weekend. last year was a blast with the bomb squad there.

man i wish i could make it. my son turns 3 on the 10th and we have people coming in from dallas or i would just take him. me and some buddies are going to try and get there this summer though. cant wait to see pics

Who all ended up going? Did any one see the old blue pedal start moped with a stack in the south camp? That was one of my friends, and that thing sounds like a drag banshee.

I actually did end up making it and it was awesome besides the dunes. They sucked for jumpin only the big one were peaked. We were in day parking by the gate with 2 yellow 400ex's and a red one with a white z

Yeah, we were camped right across the way from him......it was pretty sweet.

Did anyone see the guy on the z that revved it up and dumped the clutch and hit the z in front of before the show started and the Powersports guy came and took his key from him. lol

I went and did not catch the show on friday night. The show on saturday other than the backflip was not very good @ all. H-bomb put on a much better show last year @ Sandjam. Much more energy. :(

I thought i saw you. Saturday afternoon before the fmx show i was hangin out with kazpr in the day parking, alot of scenery out :macho .
