1st race

Hey everyone. I will be racing my 1st race on june 2nd and i am wondering what i should do to my quad to make it leagal and all of that stuff. I already have nerf bars and i am getting number plates and a tether killswitch. Is there anything else i should do?

That should be all you need. Check to see if it is an AMA race. If so, you will need to register there at the track, so it will take a lot longer, and also be more expensive.

you will probaly need a AMA card. They are $39 for a year. I would reccomend checking into a ATVA card because you can use them inplace on AMA cards at most tracks and the ATVA supports quads unlike the AMA that just supports Bikes. And as long as you have a kill switch you probaly dont need anything else besides nerfs if you are doing MX.

Don't wait to sign up for ATVA @ the track find out what you need and do it online. Print your receipt and take it with you..Screw that line BS at the race you will have enough stuff to do.
