I knew we grew them big down here, but not that big. Note the pea shooter he killed that monster with.

I wonder if the meat is not as good because he is so big. Some meat tastes better the smaller the animal ... wait ... maybe that's fish.

that was the gun that was used a s&w 500

There's no gunshots on it in the picture because that guy didn't kill it.

We were playing poker, and the damn thing tried taking my money.

Taught him.

I think those particular boars are like a Cicada. It sleeps in the ground for 17 years and emerges(sp?). DerekHonda, that is why it hasn't been spotted.

Ya that was in my paper. It took him 8 shots to kill that beast and his tour guides and dad all had rifles just incase it turned on him.

i dont think that kid shot that 500 magnum because i was watching OLN and there were testin 10 different hand guns.they were checking the velocity and torque ofthe hand guns.the guy saved the 500 magnum for last and when he fired that gun it looked so powerful.he shot it 5 times and every time he shot the gun looked like it was going to fly out of his hands.the recoil off the gun bad.after he shot the 500 magnum he was sore and went and had x-rays done and he said he would never shoot it again.its no gun for an 11 year old.the 500 magnum bullets are 275-350gr.

if i'm not mistaken, i think they make tripods for that type of hand gun which would cut down of the kick back a little. i saw it on oln once. regardless though that hand gun is too much for that kid in my opinion lol. i cant believe he doesnt have a big a** scar on his forhead.

i actually watched some videos of the 500 and it does have alot of kick, i watched one where a lady was shooting and it kicked hard, so im sure it knocked the hell out of that kid but he has some meat on his bones im sure hes shot it once or twice so without a doubt it kicked the shiot out of him but as long as he got one good shot off on that hog thats all he needed

the pictures all look staged or photoshooped to me, like they are putting the people farther back in the photos to make the pig look bigger. Except the photo of the group behind the pig, in that one it look far smaller

what i have heard was that it was farm raised. when the owner went to sell some hogs he had to a slaughter house he was going to have it slaughtered but it was too large. so he ended up selling it to someone and they then put it in a fenced in place. then the boy shot it......... i dont know if its true or not but its only what i have heard.
